PROPERTIES: Sesame oil contains 41% mono-unsaturated fatty acids and 44% polyunsaturated. The oil is fairly stable and does not turn rancid on contact with the air.

APPLICATIONS: Sesame is an ideal base oil for body massage, body oil or bath oil preparations. It is also reputed to be a good oil for hair and scalp treatments. Sesame seed oil can be used individually or as a base for any of the treatment oils.
