This oil is a 25% dilution in Jojoba Oil.

Rose Otto comes from the Pink Damask rose. The oil is extracted through steam distillation of the freshly picked flowers. It takes 4,000 kg of flowers to yield 1 kg of rose oil.

ESSENCE: Gentle, feminine - truly the essence of perfection. Rose Otto is a middle note and is considered to be calming and relaxing.

EFFECTS: Rose oil is the most diverse of all essential oils as it has the ability to affect our body, mind and soul. It opens the heart and soothes feelings of anger, fear, anxiety and sorrow. It encourages us to love and to accept love.

THERAPY: Rose may be used as a sedative for the nerves. It is useful for palpitations, irritability and insomnia. It is the most valuable treatment in gynaecological problems and helps regulate menstruation and relieves menstrual cramps. Rose oil has excellent emollient properties and is good for all skin types. It has the ability to add and retain moisture to the skin. It also has a tonic and astringent effect on the capillaries and can be used for broken capillaries, to reduce redness and to reduce inflammation of the skin. It has a cooling effect and alleviates menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats. Rose oil is a well known Natural hormone balancer.
