Juniper is an evergreen shrub or small tree with yellow flowers and small berries. The oil is extracted through steam distillation of the crushed dried berries.

ESSENCE: A yang energy encouraging inner strength and vitality. Juniper is a middle note and is considered to be balancing with a purifying property.

EFFECTS: Very good for mental fatigue and nervous exhaustion.

THERAPY: Considered a powerful tonic for the body benefiting poor circulation, cold hands and feet, tiredness and lower backache. It is well known for its diuretic and lymphatic decongestant properties. It is recommended to detoxify the skin, thus aiding in the treatment of eczema, acne and psoriasis.

PRECAUTIONS: Can irritate sensitive skin. DO NOT USE DURING PREGNANCY OR IF THERE IS A HISTORY OF KIDNEY PROBLEMS.
