German Chamomile (also known as blue chamomile) is a fragrant annual herb. The oil is extracted by steam distillation of the dried flowering heads.

ESSENCE: Emotionally strong and grounding. German Chamomile is a base note with a deep scent and a fruity undertone.

EFFECTS: Used to counteract agitation and heal the aura when anger is present.

THERAPY: Can be used for slow healing wounds, abscesses and infected ingrown nails. It is good for the treatment of eczema and dry itchy skin. German chamomile is especially beneficial for urinary tract infections when added to a bath blend. Use in a massage blend for muscular aches and pains and in a bath to relieve pain from inflamed joints.

PRECAUTIONS: Beware of ragweed allergies. DO NOT USE DURING PREGNANCY.
