This oil is made by infusing the common edible carrot in a carrier or vegetable oil. Our Carrot oil is infused in Certified Organic Extra Virgin olive oil.

PROPERTIES: Carrot infused oil is extremely high in beta carotene. It is one of the best cellular revitalizing oils. It is a natural antioxidant, making it a must-have oil for healthy skin. Carotenoids have been found to enhance the body’s ability to protect the skin from UVR damage.

CONTAINS: Vitamin A and E, beta carotene, carotenoids

TEXTURE: Moderate to heavy

SHELF LIFE: Approximately 1 year

APPLICATIONS:  Carrot oil is an excellent addition to any skin or body care product. It should be blended at a 10% - 15% dilution (using it at 100% may cause a discoloration of the skin). It is an excellent addition to Avocado oil and Macadamia Nut oil to create a natural sun filter. Add to Almond or Jojoba oil and Evening Primrose for a rich body moisturizing oil.

PRECAUTIONS: Using Carrot oil at full strength may cause an orange discoloration of the skin.
