Black Spruce is a tall evergreen tree. The oil is distilled from the needles and twigs. It has a sweet, soft balsamic scent with green wood undertones.

ESSENCE: Vibrant and fresh, it represents strength, clarity and motivation. Black Spruce is a top to middle note and blends well with other tree oils and herb oil.

EFFECTS: It has a very warming effect, like wrapping yourself in a cozy blanket. It is often used to counteract apathy or mental fatigue. Black Spruce is also an excellent oil for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

THERAPY: It is an excellent oil to use for muscular aches and pains, poor circulation and rheumatism. It is also beneficial for respiratory conditions such as asthma, and serves as a simple, effective bronchitis home remedy. Black Spruce is well known as an adrenal support oil and is often used in winter months to prevent colds and flu.
