Where We Started

Awaken My Senses opened its doors in 2005 as a clinical aromatherapy practice. We offered a variety of massage and facial treatments. Our specialty was creating individual treatments made with organic essential oils, vegetable oils, herbs and fresh fruits for each of our clients. Having a full body exfoliation with organic avocado oil, organic ground oatmeal and a fresh organic avocado was wonderful but completely unexpected and foreign to our customers. Our yoghurt and French clay masks were a delight and our Neroli & Sweet Orange hot stone massage was quite simply an “out of body” experience. Our customers loved this natural, fresh-from-nature approach and wanted products to take home with them, so we created a line of skin and body care products. They were thrilled and told a friend, who told a friend and before you knew it….we were manufacturing!  

Today, we offer a full line of all natural skin care and body care products, plus recently, our innovative new line of natural pet care products. For the past four years our skin care products have been available in health food stores across Canada.

Boxed packaging adds needless and costly waste, not to mention the impact it can have on the global environment.  Apart from a small portion of our do-it-yourself bulk vegetable oils and butters (where cost would be prohibitive), we ship all of our products in a glass “re-usable” bottle or jar.

Make It Clean:
We use only therapeutic grade organic or wildcrafted essential oils, vegetable oils, butters and waxes to produce our products.  No chemicals, no additives, no fillers, no animal byproducts….  just pure straight-from-nature plant materials.
